Founder of Smart Land Investors.
Joshua Kagan is the founder of Smart Land Investors. After 15 years working across commercial and residential real estate, he became intrigued with the simplicity and durability of land: no broken toilets, no midnight tenant calls—just real dirt in real places with real long‑term value.
Through our sister company, Friendly Acres Land, Joshua and the team have acquired dozens of properties and learned firsthand where buyers get confused, where bad deals hide, and what actually makes a piece of land worth owning. Smart Land Investors is his way of opening up that playbook: sharing the same due diligence system he uses, and making path‑of‑progress land accessible to people who never owned real estate before “investors.”
Joshua’s mission is simple: help normal, hard‑working people become confident landowners, one well‑underwritten parcel at a time.
